Blue Velvet is a contemporary art gallery with an exhibition program that embraces both delicate intricacy and clear, bold statements, while engaging with the tensions of contemporary life—whether through constructed realities, psychological unease, or the subversion of dominant narratives. The gallery sees art as a medium for human interaction and a way to reflect on the complexities of our existence. Its program gravitates toward works that confront power structures, explore mortality and desire, and examine how culture and media shape our sense of reality.

Founded in 2021 by Pier Stuker in Zurich, the gallery represents ten artists and regularly participates in international art fairs. In March 2025, Blue Velvet opened a temporary project space in a large industrial warehouse in Madrid.
