ARTISSIMA 2025
Group presentation with Marius Steiger, Chryssa, Mónica Mays
31 October – 2 November 2025 | OVAL Lingotto, Turin. | Booth: yellow 11
For our participation at Artissima in Turin, we are delighted to present both new and historical works by Marius Steiger, Mónica Mays, and Chryssa (Estate). Three artists who form an integral part of the gallery’s program. Together, their works reflect on materiality and perception, establishing a dialogue between painting, found objects and the industrial language of postwar art.
Marius Steiger, working with digitally generated 3D renderings, merges classical vanitas motifs with contemporary virtuality, suspending nature and objects in immaculate, synthetic surfaces. Greek-American artist Chryssa (1933–2013), a key figure between Minimalism and Pop Art, translated the postwar urban energy of New York into luminous sculptures and pared-down forms that explore the relationship between light, language, and mass culture. Mónica Mays, in turn, weaves autobiographical, material, and historical layers in her sculptural practice, reconfiguring found industrial and domestic fragments to reveal suppressed cultural and political narratives.
Our presentation at Artissima 2025 is supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
